Members should be aware of an old scam that has reared its head again,
regards the buying of their orginal art directly.

It goes something like this.

Artist is is contacted by someone who wants to buy a painting on the fineartamerica gallery website.

They agree upon a price and American Express travellers cheques to the value, far in excess of the asking price arrive.

Artist is then instructed me to cash the cheques and return the surplus money and the painting via Western Union.

The cheques, it transpires, are counterfeit forgeries.

Nice to have your paintings with ours in the Easel FAA, Lucia. I wish us all good luck there, and I must honestly say, that I will be happy for any sale we will have there, , independently if they are MY paintings or not!
I can only recommend to everybody to join us there together we are stronger, one says, and it is certainly true on the net! anyway, FAA is great, I had my last sale as I came back from my travel trip some days ago. Wonderful you know, you upload your paintings there, say which price you want, and then you just have to wait for a client. FAA takes the whole job over, you have nothing to do, and get paid then. A wonderful service for artists and clients, really!
