Twiends provides introductions to people looking for friends and followers. We use seeds to create the incentive for people to check each other out. When you follow someone they give you seeds, and vica versa when they follow you. Heres a great article from Mashable highlighting the amount of time people actually spend on social networking sites.

We apparently spend up to 6 hours a month on social networking sites. However I believe these numbers could even be higher. Think about it, we generally spend more time on the Internet than in front of our television sets and much of our time on the Internet is spent on social networking sites.
