I have been creative for as long I can remember, and made my career as a draughtswoman, until raising a family put all non-practical art activities on hold.

I returned to painting around 2004, and fell in love with watercolours, and apart from a couple of workshops am mainly self- taught, with the help of Books and DVD’s. Painting took a back seat for a while after I started to take my own reference photos, and rapidly became absorbed in photography.

But my pencil and watercolour brush are now once again as busy as my camera..I am also exploring oils and pastels. My choices of subjects are as broad as my choice of media…..though Portraits are currently fascinating me.

Thanks to two very special friends, I've just recently given my first workshop, Portraits in Watercolour, at one of the leading art Centres in Dubai. The experience was amazing and hope to being some more soon in the UK.
