Thankyou Jean and Miki... I hope I have the paintings in the right
place...
Tara was one of the most beloved Big Cats... I played with her when
she was 3 and 4 months old, I can never forget those days... Here
she was 1 year old and BEAUTIFUL!!
Yes I do, My whole life was about portraying them and helping to
protect their lives .
My life changed when I saw "Born Free", I knew then I had to paint
them....
Of course there is much more to it... My relationship with them
goes very deep.
I have some good news... I have been given a 1st price!
I sent 2 paintings to South Africa to help the White Lions and the
White Leopards ... I am very happy, the paintings will go to
auction later on and I hope they raise a lot of money for the
trust. I will post the images later on so you can see them..
The price I believe is a visit to the White Lions in Timbavatti...
I wish now I was still 30 years old!!
There is only a handfull left in their homeland... free.
What a wonderful news!!!!!! Really, you must be immensely happy,
from deep within your soul. I got really "goosy" (I don't know if
the word really exists, Kevin uses it so do I!) when I read your
comment, felt incredibly excited! Oyh yes, please, post the
paintings!
Have I understood well: you will go to the White Lions in
Timbavatti?
Hi, here they are... well not the best of my works but from inside
my heart.
There are lots of interesting legends about the White Royals... the
Sun Beings that return at the end of a Time...
Linda Tucker wrote a book (very interesting... after reading it I
painted "ASLAN" in FAA) the book is "The Mystery of the White
Lions"...
Their web side is : "Global White Lion Protection Trust"
Well I am not sure that I can go ... it is not so easy... I have to
get first to Johannesburg.... and I have lots of little furry
friends that I look after..
But I feel happy anyway!!
Thank you all for being so suportive... it is nice to have friends
here...
This tiger is fantastic, you made him eyes incredible and its fur
is magnificent by your excellent hatching. Its face is excellent
and your colours are really brilliant. This work is stunning as
success.
