Her biggest passion is wolves which are the main subject of her work although she also enjoys creating a variety of other subjects including landscapes, portraits, wildlife and domestic animals. Specializing in pastels, charcoal and tinted graphite, Tracie's images are realistic, inviting the viewer to connect with the subjects character and inner spirit. Despite being a relative newcomer to the world of art her work has been described as sensitive, adventurous and alive.
In the summer of 2009, Several of her original works were on display at the 2009 Summer Art Exhibition in the UK which ran from 27th July - 25th October 2009. She was subsequently invited to submit several pieces for the Christmas Open Exhibition 2009 which ran from 27th November to 8th January 2010.
On 28th October 2009, Winter Watch was announced as the winner of the Pastel Guild of Europes October 2009 Juried Art Contest and the following comments were made by the jurors:
'Our decision is based on the excellent use of values to put all focus on the wolf's face and eyes, and the good placement of the head near the left third of the area. In short, the simplicity of values, and the way the artist has connected the darks made an impact we couldn't ignore! We also feel her use of colour temperature, used to create volume, is a good technique. Her strokes are sure, not hesitant, the composition is good and the piece has great emotional impact.'
In November 2009, the Pastel Guild of Europe Newsletter featured an exclusive interview with Tracie along with her personal review of the new Clairefontaine PastelMat.
Defiant Harmony, one of Tracie's atmospheric landscapes, was featured in the Gallery section of the November 2009 edition of PAINT, Newsletter of the SAA (Society for All Artists)
Several of Tracie's original artworks are available to purchase from her website along with limited edition prints of her work. Please visit www.traciekoziura.com for more information.

Lucie Beauchesne commented on Rebelwolf's picture.I remain amazed by this work, I had to return there, because the hatching of its fur has to be extraordinary. Bravo still for this fantastic execution.

Lucie Beauchesne commented on Rebelwolf's picture.Wow! Your pastel is stunning as execution, the face of the dog is stunning and so natural. Eyes are fascinating by its brilliancy and I believe that you have an extraordinary talent to make this technique. Félicitation for this great work.
